I recently had a baby, and I found myself eating things that had no nutritional support at all because I was in a panic to get out the door in time to take my daughter to daycare, so I decided something needed to change.

I am not one to go on a strict diet, so I decided that simple changes would work best, starting with a healthy breakfast. What I love about smoothies is that they are super quick to make and keep you feeling fuller longer. One helpful trick I found is keeping the main dry ingredients on the counter next to my blender. That way, there is 1 less step I have to worry about in the morning!
